According to CBS4, the Castle Pines North Metro District had three water pump failures last week. The problem resulted in reduced water pressure to homes and businesses located in the district’s lower-elevation service areas and left those in higher elevations with limited water pressure. The district had asked residents to suspend outdoor watering while it resolved the issue. The pumps have since been repaired. However, Colorado health officials asked the district to issue a boil advisory for anyone planning to drink or cook with the water temporarily.
