Briefly: Officials ask anglers to fish out fast-draining reservoir

The Colorado Sun reports that Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials, in response to a leaky dam at southwestern Colorado’s Summit Reservoir, invited the public to fish for as many fish as possible before the reservoir runs dry. The reservoir is likely draining because of a valve issue. The Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company manages the reservoir and will be making immediate repairs to the dam.
