The Los Angeles Times reports that Gov. Gavin Newsom has vetoed a bill that would have required newly proposed data centers to disclose how much water is needed for their projects when they apply for licenses, and would have required all data centers to report their water consumption each year. The bill’s sponsor has vowed to continue pushing for new rules on the issue.
