Briefly: A once-in-a-decade bomb cyclone is taking shape off the West Coast

According to The New York Times, a “bomb cyclone” over the Pacific Ocean is expected to bring days of damaging winds, rainfall and blizzards to Northern California, Oregon and Washington. The storm is expected to produce as much as 20% of the rainfall the region would expect in a year.
