The Daily Sentinel reports that Dillon Reservoir is now 100% full, according to Denver Water. Despite the ongoing drought, the reservoir is full because less water was released to flow downstream in the Blue River or moved across the Continental Divide to the South Platte River via the Roberts Tunnel. Denver Water is moving less water as a result of good moisture levels in the South Platte Basin. However, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder, streamflows in Summit County are below normal. Blue River flows that are not held back at Dillon Reservoir supply water to Green Mountain Reservoir and eventually join the Colorado River.
