Briefly: Rural New Mexico water system wins $10M in federal funds

New Mexico’s KRQE reports that a major pipeline project to bring water to eastern New Mexico, where communities rely on the declining Ogallala Aquifer, has been awarded an additional $10 million in funding from the federal government, in a move officials said was welcome and surprising.
