Briefly: Snowpack lags across southern Colorado, strong for Denver and Colorado Springs

According to Colorado Springs Gazette, snowpack has stacked up near or above average in critical areas that serve Denver and Colorado Springs, but is lagging in Colorado’s southern mountains. Recent data shows that two southernmost river basins have received a little more than 65% of the median snowpack in contrast with the Colorado headwaters that has received 101% of median. This is good news for some and bad news for others.
