Briefly: Utah Supreme Court rejects proposed Colorado River pipeline

Fox 13 reports that the Utah Supreme Court has rejected a proposal to pull 55,000 acre-feet of water from the Green River, a Colorado River tributary, in Utah and pump it to Colorado and Wyoming. In the court’s ruling, justices stated that the pipeline proposal didn’t adequately demonstrate how the water would be put to beneficial use.
