Water for Commodity Production Tour: February 2016

Participants spent the day with CFWE exploring the relationship between water demands, public policy and economic development, and saw innovative approaches in the Pueblo area. We heard about land use policy and planning for economic development, economic return and distribution scale of local agricultural products, industrial hemp and commercial marijuana operations, leasing water for industrial water uses, historical and current context of water for steel production and much more.
